Prince Andrew may be running out of places to hide — and running out of time. The disgraced brother of King Charles, who quietly relocated to his Sandringham accommodation earlier this month, is now said to be taking cover at Marsh Farm as a fresh wave of legal and reputational pressure builds around him.
Already stripped of his royal titles and privileges and cast out from the royal fold, Andrew now faces the possibility of criminal charges on both sides of the Atlantic as the Epstein investigation continues to cast a long shadow over the monarchy.
Andrew was last arrested for questioning in February — on his 66th birthday — and held for eleven hours before being released without charge. US lawmakers have since urged him to testify, and legal observers say the question is no longer whether further action is coming, but when.
The pressure is compounding for the royal family at a delicate moment. King Charles is currently in the United States for a high-profile state visit, and there are already calls for the monarch to meet with victims connected to the Epstein case. Charles has so far maintained his silence, citing the ongoing probe’s active nature — but that restraint has done little to stem the flow of damaging revelations about his younger brother.

The latest comes from royal author Tom Bower, who recounted a deeply troubling anecdote about Andrew’s conduct during an overseas trade visit — one that Bower says lays bare the ex-prince’s character in stark terms. “He was in Warsaw as a trade representative and was addressing a bunch of British businessmen, a large lunch,” Bower revealed during a Daily Expresso podcast. “And the deputy ambassador came in to tell him that he was urgently wanted on the phone.”
The deputy ambassador, Bower explained, had a club foot — a condition he described as “very noticeable” and a “huge physical deformity.” Rather than respond with any degree of discretion or decency, Andrew reportedly erupted.
Andrew ignored it and screamed across the room at him, “What the f— are you cripple doing coming to interrupt me?”
Bower said he found the episode almost impossible to believe. It was “unbelievable” the way Andrew behaved, he said — “really shocking, shocking, selfish, stupid man.” The anecdote, while not new in the broader catalogue of Andrew’s alleged misconduct, has resurfaced at a moment when public and political tolerance for the former prince appears to be exhausted. With investigations ongoing and extradition pressure mounting from the US, Andrew’s rural retreat may offer little more than a temporary refuge from a reckoning that appears increasingly unavoidable.
