Jessica Simpson is stepping back into the spotlight this time, on the small screen. The 44-year-old singer and fashion mogul recently opened up about her guest appearance in All’s Fair, Ryan Murphy’s upcoming legal drama, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Simpson described the experience as both thrilling and challenging, particularly due to the physical transformation required for her role. “I had a blast,” she said. “I did eight hours of prosthetics, so it was very intense. But props to the prosthetics team. I love you guys so much. They said I had the most patience of anyone they’ve ever worked with, so I mean, that’s a good compliment.”

Known more for her music and reality TV past, Simpson emphasized how different this acting experience was for her. “I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting,” she added. Simpson also touched on working alongside Kim Kardashian, who plays a leading role in the high-profile series.
The two celebrities, who share a friendly off-screen relationship, finally had the opportunity to collaborate professionally. “Kim, I mean, we just live down the street from each other. Our kids are best friends, so to be on set, it just felt kind of natural. It was fun to work together — we’ve never worked together,” Simpson shared.

Adding a bit of humor to the conversation, she joked about their on-screen roles: “She did all the lawyer talk, I did all the whining.” All’s Fair is already generating buzz thanks to its powerhouse cast and high production value. In addition to Simpson and Kardashian, the series features acclaimed actors such as Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash-Betts.
