Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson are said to be reuniting for a new Netflix documentary, marking a major moment for former fans of One Direction.
According to The Sun, the project will follow the pair on a road trip across the United States. Filming is already underway, and the documentary is expected to premiere next year, coinciding with a decade since One Direction’s split.
Malik has been based in the US since 2018, when he moved from the UK to live with then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid. Tomlinson also spends significant time there as he co-parents his nine-year-old son with American stylist Briana Jungwirth.

US Weekly reported that discussions of a reunion show had been underway even before Payne’s death in October 2024. Payne, known for hits like For You, tragically died after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
