Kim Kardashian appears seriously upset with Kanye West as tensions rise between the former couple over co-parenting decisions, this time involving their daughter North West’s unexpected feature on Kanye’s new song, “Lonely Roads.”
The track, which includes a guest appearance from incarcerated rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, opens with a recorded call from Diddy. North later makes a cameo, rapping, “Doing everything I wanted, that’s life. When you see sh— and then you see the light.”

Kim was reportedly against North’s participation from the outset. In a now-deleted tweet, Kanye shared what he claimed was a text exchange with Kim, alleging she threatened legal action to prevent North from appearing in the song.
“I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. Okay, good night,” the message read. A source close to the family told Entertainment Tonight that Kim’s primary concern is the safety and well-being of her children, particularly amid Kanye’s controversial public behavior.

“Kim’s priority is the well-being and safety of her children and to protect them from being around Kanye’s controversial behavior. As a mom, especially putting her child on a platform for a lot of opinions, it’s something to really, really, really think about.”
The disagreement highlights escalating tensions between the exes, who share four children. Kanye is reportedly angered by limited access to his kids and Kim’s recent decision to trademark North’s name.

In another message allegedly sent to Kim, Kanye reportedly warned, “Amend it or I’m going to war, and neither of us will recover from the public fallout.” He followed up publicly, tweeting, “The man makes the final decision.”
This recent conflict marks a sharp departure from last year when Kim and Kanye publicly supported North’s debut as Simba in “The Lion King.” At that time, Kim spoke positively of Kanye’s involvement, stating, “Her dad has been involved, and he came to rehearsal. It’s always good vibes.” Nearly a year later, those amicable interactions appear to have deteriorated, leaving their co-parenting relationship strained and fraught with tension.
