Taylor Swift isn’t losing sleep over the possibility of being pulled into Justin Baldoni’s legal battle with her close friend Blake Lively. A source told Page Six that the Grammy-winning superstar remains unshaken by speculation surrounding her involvement.
“Taylor is a strong woman and she’s not hiding from anything,” the insider said. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, previously hinted that Swift might be deposed as part of the case, but the singer is reportedly staying focused on her personal life rather than legal drama.

“Taylor is simply enjoying some alone time with Travis [Kelce] and being under the radar for a little bit,” the source added. Three weeks after Baldoni named Swift in his countersuit against Lively, Freedman clarified that her potential testimony could be relevant in the case, which is set for trial in March 2026.
“I don’t know that we’re going to depose Taylor Swift. I think that that’s going to be probably a game-time decision. I don’t know that that decision has been made,” Freedman said. “But, I can tell you this—anyone that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed.”

Despite the legal maneuvering, there has been speculation that Swift is displeased about being dragged into the dispute. According to Page Six, she “can’t help but feel used” by Lively after text messages allegedly surfaced in Baldoni’s lawsuit referring to Swift as one of Lively’s “dragons.”
Although the texts don’t explicitly name Swift, many believe Lively was referring to both her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, when she allegedly called them “absolute titans” and her “creative barometers.”

Baldoni contends that during a meeting at Lively’s New York City penthouse, she cited Swift and Reynolds as powerful allies supporting her in business battles.
For now, Swift appears unfazed by the legal chatter and focused on enjoying her downtime. Whether she will ultimately be called into court remains an open question, but sources say she isn’t letting the situation disrupt her life.
