Ben Affleck meets influencer Jen Affleck in playful coffee chain commercial

Ben Affleck finally came face-to-face with Jen Affleck after months of speculation about whether the two were actually related. Their meeting unfolded in a lighthearted setting as they teamed up for a new commercial for a breakfast and coffee chain that premiered Monday.

Jen Affleck, 26, is a social media influencer who stars on the reality series The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives. In the ad, she introduced herself to viewers with a tongue-in-cheek moniker. “Expecting my cousin Ben? Nah,” she said, adding that when “something packed with amazing value, they bring me in. Jen Affleck. The Value Affleck. Twice the personality, half the price. I’m a steal.”

She continued the playful banter with a direct jab at the Oscar-winning actor. “Why overpay for something that nobody wants? I’m younger, hotter. Can you believe Ben’s only 53? And it’s not like a young 53. It’s like a weathered 53.”

Ben quickly fired back in the ad when he appeared at the drive-thru window. “Rude. [I’m a] totally average 53. Right down the 53 fairway,” he said. The commercial added a humorous twist to the rumors that the pair might share family ties. On her reality show, Jen once claimed her husband Zac was a cousin of Ben, which would make them related by marriage.

That claim gained traction online, fueling speculation among fans. In September 2024, however, a source told People magazine that the connection between the Utah Afflecks and Ben’s Boston family was “absolutely not true.” Genealogy records later revealed that Zac’s family line traced back to England, while Ben’s ancestry originated in Scotland.

Despite the lack of a real relationship, viewers appeared to enjoy seeing the two Afflecks share the screen. The lighthearted jabs and playful tone of the commercial quickly circulated online, drawing laughs and sparking new rounds of commentary.
