Bella Hadid Steps Out in Paris After Lyme Disease Treatment, Shares Update on Recovery Journey

Bella Hadid appeared in Paris this week, showing signs of progress just days after receiving treatment for Lyme disease. The 28-year-old model was seen on Wednesday, September 24, wearing a brown trench coat with black oval sunglasses, her golden brown hair tied back with a matching headband. Carrying a shoulder bag, she looked to be in good spirits.

That same day, Hadid updated her followers on Instagram, posting a treadmill photo from the gym. “First day in the gym in a long time! Just walking, but still! Getting my stamina back,” she wrote. Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, 61, shared the post on her own account with encouragement, adding, “Gooooo Bella ….. One day at a time.”

The family’s updates come after Yolanda spoke publicly about her daughter’s ongoing health struggles. In a heartfelt Instagram post on September 18, she admitted how difficult it has been to watch Bella cope with chronic neurological Lyme disease.

“As you will understand, watching my Bella struggle in silence has cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside me,” Yolanda wrote. She called the illness an “invisible disability” and reflected that her own pain does not compare to the experience of seeing her daughter suffer.

Yolanda, who has battled Lyme disease herself since 2012, said she has shifted focus from her personal journey to support Bella. She described her daughter as “relentless and courageous,” praising her “bravery and your willingness to keep fighting for health despite the failing protocols and countless setbacks you have faced.”

She highlighted Bella’s strength through years of “darkness, pain, and setbacks” since her diagnosis in 2013. “I am so proud of the fighter that you are. You are not alone, I promise to have your back every step of the way, no matter how long this takes,” Yolanda added.

Just a day earlier, Bella had posted photos from a hospital bed where she rested while connected to IV bags. “I’m sorry, I always go MIA. I love you guys,” she wrote alongside the images.

Despite ongoing challenges, Bella has found moments of joy. She recently celebrated the fifth fragrance launch of her Orabella brand with a summer garden party attended by close friends Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Alex Consani. Sharing a group photo, she captioned it, “My cuties.”

From hospital recovery to a stylish appearance in Paris, Hadid seems committed to taking her journey one step at a time, surrounded by the support of her family and friends.
