Katy Perry has revealed she sustained a knee injury during a recent concert mishap, even as rumors swirl about her personal life and a possible connection to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The Roar singer shared the update with her 200 million Instagram followers, posting a carousel of photos and videos that offered a glimpse into her life both on and off stage.
Among the images was a close-up of Katy Perry’s bloodied right kneecap, captured as she rested her legs on the rim of a bathtub. The injury appeared fresh and was the most striking image in the post.
In the following slide, Perry included a screenshot of a text exchange with a friend, in which she explained the incident. “It was a slide on my knees, mome that usually makes them go ahh,h and it just made me go arghh,” she wrote, suggesting that a routine stage move went painfully wrong.

The carousel also featured lighter moments, including a photo of Perry’s 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, and a video of the singer performing in a playful puppet show.
The update comes as Perry remains at the center of intense media attention following an outing with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The meeting, which took place less than a month after her separation from actor Orlando Bloom, sparked widespread dating speculation. Neither Perry nor Trudeau has commented publicly on the rumors.
Perry is currently performing the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, which has kept her busy despite the injury. The global tour began on April 23, 2025, in Mexico City and will conclude on December 7, 2025, in Abu Dhabi.
The Firework and Teenage Dream hitmaker is known for her high-energy performances, which often include elaborate choreography and theatrical stunts. Fans have noted that Perry frequently incorporates knee slides into her shows—a move that may have contributed to her latest mishap.

While the injury appears minor, it has prompted concern among her followers, many of whom left messages wishing her a quick recovery. Perry, however, seemed to downplay the incident, focusing instead on sharing personal and family moments alongside behind-the-scenes glimpses from her tour.
With several months left before her final tour date, it remains to be seen whether Perry will adjust her performances to avoid aggravating the injury. For now, the pop superstar appears determined to keep the show going—onstage and in the public eye.
