Pamela Anderson Praises Liam Neeson Amid Onscreen Chemistry and Dating Rumors

Pamela Anderson is singing the praises of her The Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson, crediting the Irish actor with boosting her confidence on set and fueling fresh speculation about their offscreen connection. In a candid conversation with The New York Times, Anderson, 58, reflected on her experience filming the action-comedy alongside Neeson.

She described the Taken star as a natural force of presence and charm. “He has so much charm and so much charisma that you kind of just fall into it,” Pamela Anderson said. “I can’t explain it because I’ve never experienced it before.” Despite her decades-long career in Hollywood, Anderson admitted she still struggled with self-doubt while filming the project.

At those moments, Neeson’s encouragement provided a steadying hand. Recalling his words, Anderson shared, “You’re doing great.” The actress, who recently starred in The Last Showgirl, added that working on a comedy has been revitalizing. “To do comedy, it gives you a lot of energy when you’re in something so joyful and silly,” she explained.

“Liam has done over 100 movies, and I hope he’s inspired to do even more (comedies).” Their onscreen chemistry, which audiences first glimpsed in the film’s trailers, quickly sparked rumors of a budding romance during production. Reports of their close relationship intensified after several affectionate red carpet appearances while promoting the movie.

A source later confirmed the speculation to People Magazine, revealing that Anderson and Neeson are indeed dating. “It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” the insider said. The source emphasized that the relationship is still in its early stages but added that both stars are “enjoying each other’s company” as they navigate press tours and promotional events together.

The Naked Gun, directed by Akiva Schaffer, officially hit theaters on July 31, 2025, marking a revival of the classic comedy franchise that first gained fame in the late 1980s. Anderson and Neeson play Detective Frank Drebin Jr. and Beth Davenport, respectively, in a slapstick adventure that has already drawn attention for its humor and the unlikely pairing of its two leads.

For Anderson, the project has opened the door to a new chapter in her career while also putting her personal life back in the spotlight. As she and Neeson continue their promotional tour, fans are keeping a close eye on whether their chemistry extends far beyond the screen.
