Prince William has been a constant presence at the side of the Princess of Wales since her admission to the hospital, marking his unwavering support during her stay. However, their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have not yet had the opportunity to visit their mother.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, was admitted to the London Clinic last Tuesday in preparation for an abdominal surgery that will require her to remain in the hospital for a duration of 10 to 14 days. Her return to official duties is not anticipated until after the Easter period. In light of her hospitalization, Prince William has cleared his royal engagement schedule to assume a more hands-on role in caring for Kate and their children, reported The SUN.

Reportedly, Prince William has been visiting Kate every day at the London Clinic since her surgery over a week ago. However, it is understood that the couple’s children have not yet visited. During Kate’s hospital stay, the youngsters are believed to have been attending school, and on Sunday, they were under the care of their grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, Kate’s parents.

Kate is known for her active involvement in her children’s lives, often participating in the school run, attending school events, and engaging in various activities with them. Despite her hospitalization, Kate is expected to maintain contact with her children through FaceTime and offer them comfort as needed.

Emily Nash, royal editor for HELLO!, emphasized that both Prince William and Kate are hands-on parents who prioritize spending time with their children. They typically accompany their children to school, attend sports matches and concerts, and aim to be present for bedtime routines as much as possible. During Kate’s hospitalization, Prince William will ensure that the children’s daily routines remain as normal as possible.

The news of the princess’s surgery was announced by Kensington Palace last Wednesday, coinciding with the revelation from Buckingham Palace that King Charles was preparing for treatment related to an enlarged prostate. King Charles, like Prince William, has canceled engagements in preparation for his corrective procedure scheduled for this week. Queen Elizabeth has encouraged her husband to take a break and prioritize his health.

Kate’s condition remains non-cancerous, and Kensington Palace has not disclosed further details. The palace issued a statement on her behalf, expressing her desire to maintain a sense of normalcy for her children and keep her personal medical information private while appreciating the public’s interest in her well-being.
