Prince Harry sparks speculation about a possible UK return during a meeting with Joss Stone

Speculation over Prince Harry’s future living arrangements has been reignited after singer Joss Stone suggested the Duke of Sussex could one day move back to the United Kingdom. Harry, who now resides in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was in Britain earlier this month for a four-day work trip.

During that time, he crossed paths with Stone, who had recently returned to the UK after years in the United States. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, the singer described her exchange with the Duke as “really sweet.” She recalled Harry joking about her family life. “He joked about me having four children, saying it’s ‘two too many,’ or maybe it wasn’t a joke!” Stone laughed.

The musician explained that Harry seemed curious about how she and her family were settling back into life in the UK. “He also asked about how we were settling back in and was genuinely interested in our move home. He’s just very warm and down to earth, as always,” she said.

Stone went on to hint that Harry himself had spoken positively about Britain as a place to raise children. “Maybe Harry will move back, too. That would be nice,” she said. “He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children.”

For Stone, those same factors influenced her decision to return. “It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back – for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends, and a strong sense of belonging and most importantly in a safe environment,” she explained.

While there has been no official indication that Harry and Meghan intend to leave the United States, Stone’s remarks have stirred speculation among royal watchers. The couple relocated to Montecito, California, in 2020 after stepping down from their roles as working royals. Since then, their life abroad has attracted significant public attention, including the launch of charitable projects and media ventures.

Any potential move back to the UK would likely spark intense scrutiny, particularly given the tensions between Harry and members of the royal family in recent years. Still, Stone’s comments suggest the Duke has not ruled out the idea of a return to his homeland, especially with regard to the upbringing of his children.

Harry remains based in the US, balancing public commitments with family life. Whether his warm reflections on British schools and community translate into future plans remains to be seen.
