Prince Andrew Reportedly Struggling Mentally As Late Accuser’s Memoir Resurfaces Allegations

Prince Andrew is said to be deeply affected by the release of his late accuser’s memoir, which has renewed public discussion about the long-running scandal surrounding the Duke of York.

The book, titled Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, was published following the author’s death by suicide in April this year. It details her experiences and once again raises allegations against the Prince.

During an interview on TalkTV with host Jeremy Kyle, U.S.-based royal commentator Kinsey Schofield discussed the emotional toll the memoir is reportedly taking on the Duke. “Everything I say to you, I want you to know is coming from a place of hearing whispers that Prince Andrew’s mental health is struggling through all of this,” Schofield said.

She explained that despite the book’s release, she remains cautious about discussing certain details because she believes Andrew is “unraveling” under the renewed pressure. “I trust my sources that say that he’s unraveling over all of this, that it just continues,” she added.

The memoir by Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct, includes several disturbing claims. One of the most notable is her assertion that the Duke believed it was his “birthright” to have her.

While Schofield acknowledged the pain Giuffre endured, she also expressed concern about the long-term consequences of continuously revisiting the scandal. “No, no absolutely, and actions have consequences,” she said. “But what I will say is, what could you potentially be unleashing if you cut Prince Andrew and Fergie off?”

Schofield also speculated about what might happen if Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, lose their remaining royal privileges or financial support. “How many books can they write? How many secrets can they sell? If you think Harry and Meghan are bad, wait until Prince Andrew and Fergie need a lifeline and they go to publishers and Netflix for a quick buck,” she warned.

Reflecting on the Duchess of York’s past, Schofield noted that Ferguson has previously written books that caused tension within the royal family. “It’s why Diana wasn’t talking to her at the end of her life because Fergie wrote about Diana’s shoes giving her warts,” she said.

Concluding the discussion, Schofield suggested that further isolation of Andrew could trigger more public fallout. “If they strip him of his remaining titles, then that is months, if not years, of those headlines,” she said.
