Meghan Markle appears unfazed by criticism—including from her estranged father, Thomas Markle—over her new Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex, now using the name Meghan Sussex, took to Instagram to share messages of support from fans who have embraced her lifestyle and cooking series.
Posting on her Instagram Stories, Meghan highlighted the positive reception her show has received, seemingly brushing off her father’s comments. “Love seeing how inspired you are by With Love, Meghan,” she wrote, sharing clips of viewers recreating her recipes. “Keep up the beautiful work!”

Meghan also posted enthusiastic messages from fans praising her show. “Let me tell y’all something. I made @meghan the Duchess of Sussex’s menu items from her show With Love, Meghan on @Netflix, and all I’m saying is that everyone loved it!” one fan shared.
Another post read, “With Love, Meghan reminded me about one of my favorite childhood activities with my beloved Nana. Sun tea was a weekly thing with her.” The fan added, “I’m on eBay right now looking for the vintage sun tea dispenser she had. Warmed my heart so much. Thanks, Meg!”
Her posts came shortly after Thomas Markle publicly criticized the show in an interview with the Daily Mail, where he dismissed it as “inauthentic.” Though he admitted he had not watched the series in full, he claimed to have seen “a ton of clips” and was unimpressed.

“I might sit down and watch it one day, but I’m not sure,” he said, before adding, “Unfortunately, Meghan has never been authentic. She has to think about everything. She’s not spontaneous.” He further criticized her on-camera demeanor, saying, “Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed.

It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions.” “I know when she’s faking it for the cameras,” he added. “She’s trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her.” Thomas also questioned Meghan’s ability to engage audiences in the cooking genre.

“Cooking shows are horrendously boring unless the presenter has a passion for it,” he said. “You have to be authentic to hold people’s attention.” “When you are stuffing the turkey’s a***, it has to look like you’re having fun doing it,” he added bluntly.
Despite her father’s sharp words, Meghan continues to focus on promoting her show and engaging with fans, signaling that she is unfazed by the mounting criticism.
