Ideas to Amend your Relationship

There are times when you are tired of longstanding or short relationships and you find yourself stuck in past thinking what went wrong and unable to move from the pain of the relationship, thinking that you will never move ahead!

Here are four ideas which will help you amend your relationship.

Never think of relationship as a failure: It is true that you can always learn from every experience. Personal relationship can give you an idea what you want and what you don’t want in a relationship. It is the past of contrast that can help you amend the relationships.

The idea suggests that you were supposed to learn by your mistakes and now that it is time to move on to other lessons. The idea states that it is a chance for both people to look at what happened, learn from their mistakes and ‘do it differently’ the next time.

Forget the past and look toward your future: It is very easy to get stuck in the past when a relationship ends. You will feel better when you would think about your mistakes and amend them by thinking and writing about what you want for your life, today and in the future.

It is important for a couple to set goals in life as they can prove to be a turning point of your new life. For a better relationship it is necessary that you stay out of depression and start building new aims of life. Take some time to learn from your mistakes right now to create some new goals for your new life and then start taking small steps toward those goals.

Accept relationship: The idea suggest that instead of blaming, either to ourselves or to other person, it is better to accept responsibilities on equal grounds. When you are in a healthy relationship with another person, both people are equally responsible for the relationship.

You can only amend and heal yourself when you let go of the ‘blame bag’ and focus on what you want to change about yourself and what you want to create in a relationship.

Taking responsibility means accepting what’s true about what you have or have not contributed to the relationship that ended and considering what you intend to contribute to relationships in the future.

Thanks for the lessons: This idea demands that you learn from your mistakes and give thanks for the lessons that you learned and change your attitude. Remember that it is painful to hear but the truth is that everything is a result of the choices you made in your life. If you don’t like the circumstances in your life or relationships, decide to make other choices.

It could mean opening up to bringing new people into your life. It could mean being grateful for what you have. Being grateful for where you are and what you’ve learned will be a positive movement toward creating what you want in your life. Change your attitude and you will change your life.
