Donald Trump Jr. Shares Bizarre Meme of Father on White House Roof

Donald Trump Jr. has continued his streak of posting eccentric memes featuring his father, President Donald Trump, with a new Instagram post that sparked both amusement and controversy.

The image, sourced from the meme account “Grand Old Memes” on X and believed to be at least partially AI-generated, depicts Donald Trump standing on the roof of the White House. In the meme, he is throwing a neon green dildo onto a basketball court filled with WNBA players.

“Posted without further comment,” Trump Jr. wrote in the caption, accompanied by three laughing emojis. The meme draws on two separate cultural moments: President Trump’s recent rooftop stroll at the White House and a high-profile incident involving Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham.

During a WNBA game on Tuesday between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks, Cunningham was struck by a sex toy thrown onto the court. The player had warned fans just days earlier on X, saying, “stop throwing dildos on the court… you’re going to hurt one of us.”

After the unexpected incident, Cunningham humorously revisited her earlier plea, quoting her own post and adding, “this did NOT age well.”

Although no arrests were made in connection with Tuesday’s incident, law enforcement has taken action in similar cases in recent weeks. An 18-year-old man was arrested after a green sex toy he allegedly threw struck both an adult spectator and a 9-year-old child.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the unusual trend of hurling green-colored sex toys at WNBA games began in late July, when one was thrown during a Golden State Valkyries versus Atlanta Dream match. In that case, the culprit—a 23-year-old man—was arrested.

Trump Jr.’s meme references these events in a way that blends satire and shock value, continuing his pattern of sharing unconventional and often provocative images of his father.

Just last week, the president’s eldest son drew attention for posting another AI-generated image showing Trump Sr. in an all-denim ensemble—a nod to actress Sydney Sweeney’s recent American Eagle campaign, which stirred debate online.

“That Hanse… Um, Donald is so hot right now!!!” Trump Jr. captioned that post, quoting a line from Owen Wilson’s character in the 2001 comedy Zoolander.

Trump Jr.’s social media activity regularly attracts both supporters who appreciate his humor and critics who view his posts as inflammatory. Whether viewed as lighthearted political satire or a step too far, his latest meme adds another entry to his growing collection of viral and controversial online content.
