Barron Trump Shuts Down Trump Tower Floor for Private Date Night Amid Heightened Security

Barron Trump is making headlines once again, this time for a grand gesture during a date night in New York City. The president’s youngest son, 19, reportedly shut down an entire floor of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue for a private evening, according to Page Six.

A source explained that the decision to host the date at home and restrict access was not about extravagance but necessity. “The decision to hold the date at home—and to close off an entire floor—was strictly due to security reasons,” the insider told the outlet.

According to The New York Times, Neither Trump Tower nor the White House immediately responded to requests for comment. Barron, now a sophomore at New York University, lives in Washington, D.C. while attending classes at the university’s D.C. outpost.

He previously spent his freshman year at the main campus in Greenwich Village, but this fall opted for the smaller program that brings between 60 and 100 students to the capital each semester. According to NYU, the program immerses students in “politics, policy, business, journalism, and leadership” while charging $32,000 per semester in tuition.

The move back to Washington is not surprising. Melania Trump, his mother, said last year that her son’s college experience could never be typical. “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college is very different than any other kid,” she told Fox News.

While academics keep him busy, Barron has also gained attention socially and financially. Last year, People magazine quoted a source who described him as a “ladies’ man” when he started at the Stern School of Business. “He’s a ladies’ man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies,” the source said. “He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive—yes, even liberal people like him.”

Standing at 6-foot-7 with blond hair and blue eyes, Barron has drawn significant notice on campus and beyond. His financial profile has grown as well. Forbes reported that his net worth has risen to $150 million, largely through cryptocurrency investments.

Despite the scrutiny, Barron has found ways to maintain some privacy. Instead of handing out his phone number, he reportedly chats with friends on Xbox. “If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling nonstop,” an insider told Page Six in April. “You’d have to change the number constantly, and it’d become a merry-go-round.”
