Snoop Dogg recently reminisced about his unique relationship with Michael Jackson, sharing a humorous story about how his smoking once bothered the pop icon.

In an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, the 52-year-old rapper was asked if he had ever encountered Michael Jackson, who passed away in June 2009. Snoop Dogg responded affirmatively, highlighting the close bond between their families and mentioning an unreleased collaboration.

Snoop then recounted a memorable incident orchestrated by fashion designers Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier. The designers had arranged for both Michael Jackson and Snoop Dogg to perform at an event, inadvertently placing their dressing rooms next to each other.

Snoop illustrated the scene, describing how he was smoking a joint in his dressing room when he was informed that Michael Jackson’s room was adjacent. Curious, Snoop opened the door to find Michael Jackson visibly affected by the smoke.

Impersonating Michael Jackson’s soft, high-pitched voice, Snoop imitated the pop star’s reaction: “Snoop, don’t do that.” The story, shared with humor, highlighted a lighter side of the relationship between the two iconic artists.
