Kelly Clarkson will also pay $45,000 a month in child support to River and Remington, their two children. Brandon Blackstock and Kelly Clarkson’s divorce has been finalized.

According to court documents acquired by The Blast, the singer, 39, will pay her ex a one-time payment of just over $1.3 million, as well as a monthly child support payment of $45,601 for their two children, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5, beginning Feb. 1.

The pair also agreed to share joint custody of their children, however, River and Remington will live with Clarkson in Los Angeles. As per Mail online, Clarkson’s representative has yet to react, and Blackstock’s representative has yet to respond to a request for comment.

Both children will be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus as part of the agreement, as they will be traveling out of state to see their father at the former couple’s Montana ranch, where he will be staying for the time being.

Despite the fact that Clarkson will receive both of their Montana residences, Blackstock, 45, will pay the “Since U Been Gone” singer $2,000 each month until June. In addition to the lump-sum payment, the American Idol winner will be required to pay her ex $115,000 a month in spousal support until January 31, 2024.

The spousal support amount is less than the $150,000 per month Clarkson was ordered to pay Blackstock in July of last year, in addition to the $45,601 per month in child support. The singer will also receive the family pets, various cars, including a Ford Bronco, a Ford F-250, and a Porsche Cayenne, as well as a flight simulator, according to court documents.

In exchange, Blackstock will receive the former couple’s “farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses,” as well as a Ford F-350, a Ford F-250, an ATV, and a number of CAT snowmobiles. He’ll also take home a golf simulator and a pair of Patek Philippe timepieces. After seven years of marriage, Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020, according to PEOPLE.

Clarkson asked to get legally divorced in July of last year, according to records acquired by PEOPLE. Clarkson said that she and Blackstock “both deserve the opportunity to build a new life.”

According to paperwork acquired by an independent, Clarkson was declared legally single in August. A source told PEOPLE that she’s “more than fine” after an L.A. County judge ordered her to pay Blackstock over $200,000 per month in spousal and child support.

“She is doing great and facing forward,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “She’s enjoying the fact that she has the kids for the vast majority of the time and is enjoying time spent with them.”
