While a jury in Los Angeles cleared the company of negligence in the singer’s 2009 death on Wednesday, Katherine says she is relived the ‘truth’ about who hired Dr. Conrad Murray has been revealed.

She told : ‘We have said from the beginning that this case was a search for the truth.  We found the truth.  AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray, the man who is in jail for killing Michael Jackson.’

Meanwhile, Michael’s former wife Debbie Rowe, the mother of his two oldest children, Prince Michael, 16 and 15-year-old Paris also commented on the verdict on Twitter.

She retweeted a message from court reporter Charles Thomson which read, ‘The Jacksons have won the moral victory. They proved promoters slapped, screamed at, tricked and mocked their son/father – for profit’.

Debbie also defended Katherine after some fans on Twitter suggested the Jackson family matriarch was more interested in the huge payout rather than justice.

She wrote: ‘she wanted answers to questions’.
Although the rest of Michael’s family have remained tight-lipped about the verdict, fans have been taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Opinion seems to be divided amongst fans.

A number of supporters turned out at the courthouse to cheer Katherine on. They wore T-shirts with logos saying ‘We support you Katherine Jackson’ and AEG bullied Michael.

However, most people on Twitter have taken the opposite stance.
User @_Splink_ wrote ‘“Michael Jackson’s family loses wrongful death case against tour promoter” Too right they lost. Get jobs!’

@AmyJ81 added’Michael Jackson’s family (mother) needs to let it (&him) reset now. This is ridiculous and greedy.’

@BarbaraAnnWqyk tweeted, ‘The jury found AEG not guilty in the death of @michaeljackson did they get it right? I think they did.’

Meanwhile, another Twitter user @kayscape placed the blame firmly on Michael, writing ‘Yes, Michael is responsible for his own behaviour. He controlled his own destiny and didn’t tolerate telling him NO.
