Bachelor Nation’s Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell are officially engaged, following a romantic proposal at Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s ‘Golden Wedding.’ The special moment was aired live on ABC’s ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ on Thursday, January 4.
Bowers, a 25-year-old travel nurse, chose this special occasion to ask Mandrell to marry him. He reminisced about their unique first meeting with host Jesse Palmer before making his heartfelt proposal. “Christina, from the moment that I picked you up from the airport with your crazy ass rose and your fake disguise, I knew there was something special about you,” he shared.
He then expressed his certainty about their future together, saying, “I have no doubts that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” As he presented the engagement ring, Mandrell, a mother of one, joyfully accepted, jokingly remarking on their recent manicure session as a prelude to the proposal.
