David Jude Heyworth Law is celebrating his 39th birthday today. He was born on 29 December 1972 in Lewisham, London, UK.
Jude Law is the English actor, film producer and director who stepped in acting world in 1987 with National Youth Music Theatre but rose to prominence for playing in Anthony Minghella’s The Talented Mr. Ripley for which he was nominated for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1999 but won Best Supporting Actor BAFTA Award for it in 2000.
For playing in film Cold Mountain, Jude Law was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2003. He also received an Honorary César in 2007 whereas, in April 2011, he was announced to be a member of the main competition jury at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
