Princess Kate is reportedly growing frustrated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, believing the couple continues to repeat patterns that strain their already fragile relationship with the royal family.
Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties, the pair have continued to carry out engagements that closely mirror official royal duties. From humanitarian missions in Jordan to charitable appearances in Los Angeles, the couple has maintained a high-profile schedule. In the coming weeks, they are expected to travel to Australia for what has been described as “private, business and philanthropic engagements.”
What has particularly unsettled the royals is the timing of the Australia visit, which is set to overlap with Prince William and Princess Kate’s wedding anniversary on April 29. Those close to the Princess of Wales say she is now openly questioning the intentions behind the Sussexes’ plans.
According to Radar Online, Kate has reached her limit. “Kate feels she’s reached a tipping point where staying quiet is no longer an option,” a source revealed. Despite her well-known reputation as a calm and measured presence within the family, the Princess reportedly feels that tensions are “intensifying” with each passing month.
An insider close to the situation shared that “each new appearance or headline seems to add another layer of strain, and she’s increasingly convinced that some of Meghan’s moves are calculated in a way that provokes a reaction.” The cumulative effect, sources say, has taken a serious “toll” on Prince William and the broader royal household.
In Catherine’s view, the responsibility for change lies with Harry. “Catherine firmly believes that if anything is going to change, it has to come from Harry,” the report stated. She has reportedly urged him to put a “leash on Meghan — not out of hostility, but because she sees it as the only way to bring some control back into what she views as an increasingly unmanageable situation.”
The Sussexes, however, have pushed back against such narratives. On multiple occasions, their representatives have made clear that their schedules are planned months in advance, firmly rejecting any suggestion that their activities are designed to provoke or upset the royal family.
