Fresh concerns have emerged about the behavior and wellbeing of Prince Andrew, with reports suggesting his actions are increasingly troubling and largely going unchecked by those closest to him. An insider claims that even his former wife, Sarah Ferguson and their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are keeping their distance and are reluctant to confront him.
According to Radar Online, the former Duke of York is struggling to adjust to life after losing his royal titles, official status, and residence. Once accustomed to privilege and deference, Andrew is said to be having difficulty coping with the reality of his dramatically reduced role within the royal family.
Palace insiders reportedly have growing concerns about his mental health, but say the situation is complicated by the lack of intervention from family members. One source described a pattern of behavior that has raised eyebrows among staff, including excessive isolation and emotional outbursts.
A source revealed that Andrew now spends much of his time engaging in unusual routines. He is said to talk to teddy bears, throw tantrums, and pass hours watching television or playing games. According to the insider, the people around him feel powerless to step in.
“Even his ex Sarah, and his daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice are hesitant to confront him about his strange behavior, so he goes completely unchecked, with only staff around who would never dare challenge him,” the source claimed.
The insider added that Andrew’s social circle has all but vanished. “He’s completely isolated now – all the social climbers and hangers-on drawn to his money and status have disappeared,” they said. Without the prestige and influence he once wielded, those who previously sought proximity to him have reportedly moved on.
“With that gone and reality closing in, he’s spiraling,” the source continued. “It’s a stark reminder of what happens when someone is spoiled for decades and never held accountable for their actions.”
The same insider alleged that Andrew frequently vents his frustration in front of staff, lamenting what he sees as the loss of everything meaningful in his life. “As well as chatting with his bears and throwing literal tantrums in front of them about how he has lost everything that meant anything to him, he passes his time watching TV and gaming,” they said.
While the claims have not been independently verified, they paint a picture of a man struggling with isolation and identity after a dramatic fall from royal grace. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the reports, and it remains unclear whether any formal support or intervention is being considered.
