Actor Stephen Baldwin is publicly celebrating his daughter Hailey Bieber’s remarkable rise in the beauty industry, describing her accomplishments as both extraordinary and meaningful. His comments come nearly four months after Hailey’s skincare brand, Rhode Skin, was acquired by e.l.f. Beauty in a landmark $1 billion deal.
“Look at my daughter. I never talk about her, but my daughter has done the impossible, relatively,” Baldwin said during the September 18 episode of Tori Spelling’s MisSPELLING podcast. “But in this day and age, in the last 10 years, it’s not impossible. It’s happened.”
The Usual Suspects star, who shares daughters Hailey and Alaia Aronow with wife Kennya Baldwin, explained that he is grateful Hailey pursued a business path grounded in authenticity. He also expressed relief that her success grew out of a stable and respected industry.
“And young people are making unbelievable amounts of money on the Internet in ways that are very sketchy,” Baldwin noted. “So, God bless her.”
This is not the first time Baldwin has reflected on his daughter’s career decisions. In June, he told The Adam Carolla Show that Hailey had once declined a significant cosmetics offer because she wanted to build something more meaningful.
“She’s super smart, smart in business,” he said at the time. “Succeeded as a model prior to everything she’s doing now. But the cool part was she actually had an offer to do something pretty big and cool in the cosmetics a couple of years ago and didn’t.”
According to Baldwin, Hailey’s vision for Rhode Skin was rooted in developing products with lasting value. “The reason it’s succeeding is people are responding to it,” he explained. “It actually works as hydration and all of that.”
Beyond business, Baldwin said he remains steady in how he approaches fatherhood, regardless of his daughters’ accomplishments. “The sweet part of my kids, too, is, in the wake of whatever their success is, their dad remains the same,” he said. “I’ve always been the same way. You know you’re going to tell your daughter the truth.”
Ultimately, Baldwin said his role as a father is to support while giving space. “I let my kids do what they’re doing,” he added. “And if they want to throw a boomerang at me, I’ll call them back.”
For Baldwin, Hailey’s success is more than a financial achievement. It is a reflection of her determination to carve her own path in a competitive industry while maintaining values that resonate with her family.
