Wendy Williams was spotted out in New York following new updates on her dementia and aphasia diagnoses. The former talk show host, 61, was seen enjoying dinner with friends at the popular restaurant Tucci on Saturday night.
In exclusive photos and video obtained by Page Six, Williams exited an SUV arm-in-arm with restaurateur Max Tucci, dressed in a beige dress shirt, snakeskin belt, and a straw handbag. She wore her hair down, paired with a bright pink lip and a “W” necklace, making a fashionable appearance despite her recent health concerns.
Outside the restaurant, Williams spoke exclusively with Page Six about the recent media reports surrounding her health, revealing that her attorneys were “highly upset” with the coverage.
Earlier in the week, People reported that recent tests confirmed Williams has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, citing legal documents. Previously, Williams had denied having any mental health issues. Despite these new revelations, she appeared in high spirits during the outing.

When asked if she had a message for her conservator, Williams responded, “I want to say hi to my attorneys, Allan Diamond and Joe Tacopina,” before stating emphatically, “And I will get out of guardianship.”
An insider close to Williams also told Page Six that she has not confirmed whether the test results are accurate. Her cognitive capacity has been a subject of much discussion amid her ongoing legal battles.
In 2022, a New York judge placed Williams under a guardianship after Wells Fargo froze her bank accounts, citing suspicious activity and recommending the star be protected from “undue influence and financial exploitation.”

Williams has consistently denied needing the legal arrangement, criticizing her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. She has also described the assisted living facility where she is being housed as a “prison.”
The media personality has garnered substantial public support, with many fans rallying for her freedom through online petitions and street protests. Williams has also received backing from her family, including her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, who filed a $250 million lawsuit against Morrissey in June, aiming to end the guardianship.
According to sources, Hunter filed the suit on behalf of their son, Kevin Hunter Jr., who allegedly felt “threatened” by the New York state judge overseeing his mother’s case. As the legal fight continues, Williams remains determined to regain control of her life, insisting that she will eventually “get out of guardianship.”
