Brad Pitt ‘Devastated’ After Burglary at Los Angeles Property

Brad Pitt is reportedly “devastated” following a burglary at a Los Angeles property linked to him, which ended with four people taken into police custody. The break-in occurred on June 25 in the Los Feliz neighborhood while the actor was overseas promoting his upcoming film F1.

Police say the suspects gained entry through a front window, searched the property, and fled with various items before officers arrived.

According to Officer Drake Madison, detectives worked for weeks to track down the alleged burglars, resulting in four arrests. The names of those taken into custody have not yet been released, but authorities say further information will be shared at a later date, per NBC 4.

Police have not confirmed who was living at the residence during the time of the incident, nor have they disclosed the specific items stolen. However, property records from the commercial real estate platform Traded indicate that Pitt purchased the home in April 2023 for approximately $5.5 million, or about £4 million.

A representative for Pitt declined to comment. Sources close to the actor said he was blindsided by the news, as he had not been in the country when the burglary occurred. Friends described the incident as particularly upsetting given the home’s personal significance and Pitt’s absence during the crime.

When the break-in happened, Pitt was thousands of miles away, engaged in a demanding promotional tour for F1, making public appearances in several international cities. The actor, known for his meticulous privacy, has not spoken publicly about the case.

Law enforcement officials have assured the public that the investigation remains active and that additional details will be released once it is appropriate to do so. For now, they are focused on gathering evidence and determining whether the suspects are connected to other crimes in the area.

The incident has stirred concern among fans and fueled curiosity about what might have been taken from the property. Los Feliz, a popular neighborhood for high-profile figures, has seen sporadic break-ins in recent years, prompting discussions about security for celebrity-owned homes.

While the burglary’s full impact remains unclear, the case has put Pitt in an unwelcome spotlight away from his film career. As police continue their investigation, the story has become yet another reminder that even Hollywood’s most famous faces are not immune to the kind of crimes that affect residents across Los Angeles.
