Dua Lipa shared an emotional note with her fans after performing alongside her father, Dukagjin Lipa, at the Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo. The Dance the Night hitmaker took the stage on the first night of the festival, which was founded by Lipa and her father in 2018.
The annual international music festival, held in Pristina, marks an important event for Lipa, who has deep connections to the city. Reflecting on the special moment, she wrote, “SUNNY HILL FESTIVAL NIGHT ONE.”
She continued, “This festival is something my family and I created with so much love for our city PRISHTINA and to see it come to life like this is beyond anything I could’ve dreamed of.”
In her heartfelt message, Lipa expressed her emotions about performing in her hometown. “Sharing this night with you all, in the city that shaped me, surrounded by so much energy, joy, and pride… It’s hard to put into words what it means,” she wrote. “Performing for you, and sharing the stage with my dad @dukagjinlipa, was a moment I’ll never forget.”
The singer went on to express how lucky and grateful she felt for the opportunity. “I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful. And we still have two more nights to celebrate together!! JU DUA me krejt zemrën,” Lipa concluded, expressing her love and excitement for the remaining festival nights.
As part of the three-day event, Lipa is set to perform for two more nights in Pristina, making this festival a truly special occasion for her and her family.
