Tom Selleck’s Secret Fast Food Addiction Raises Health Concerns

Tom Selleck is reportedly facing serious health concerns as insiders claim the 80-year-old actor is struggling with a secret addiction that could threaten his life. According to Radar Online, Selleck has developed a “secret fast food addiction” that has led to significant weight gain, with sources revealing that he has put on more than 100 pounds.

Family and friends are increasingly worried about the former Blue Bloods star’s well-being, attributing his binge eating to emotional distress following the cancellation of the beloved CBS drama. “Tom’s down in the dumps. Bingeing on fast food and chips takes the blues away, if only for a little while, but he’s not doing himself any favors,” a source shared.

The actor, known for his role as Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods, reportedly made a promise to his wife, Jillie, that he would work on slimming down, but sources say his weight has only continued to increase after the show’s conclusion. “He swore to his wife, Jillie, he’d try to slim down, but he appears to have put more weight on since losing his Blue Bloods gig.

He gorges on junk food outside of the house because he must know she wouldn’t approve,” the source added. Insiders suggest that Tom Selleck is struggling with the loss of Blue Bloods, a show he had been a part of for 14 seasons. “Everyone understands he’s heartbroken about losing the show – playing Frank Regan was his DNA.

But it’s over now, and he’s in a rut. He’s neglecting his health and facing some serious consequences as a result,” the insider explained. The toll of Selleck’s eating habits on his health is reportedly severe. His daily activities are said to be increasingly difficult and painful.

“It’s just going to get worse unless he kicks the fatty-food addiction and gets on an age-appropriate exercise program,” the source noted. Those close to the actor are particularly concerned about his physical condition. “He looks like he weighs at least 350 pounds.

His massive abdominal obesity means that he may already be insulin resistant, has a very high likelihood of already being diabetic, and is at increased risk for a heart attack or a stroke,” the insider warned. As Selleck continues to grapple with his personal challenges, friends and family are urging him to seek help before the situation becomes even more dire.
