Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are making the most of their time in England and showcasing fresh looks along the way. The former talk show host, 67, and the actress, 52, were seen with updated hairstyles while walking through London’s upscale Bond Street on Tuesday, July 29.
DeGeneres, who has occasionally been spotted with salt-and-pepper hair, appeared with her signature pixie cut slightly grown out. Meanwhile, her wife, de Rossi, debuted longer locks, her wavy bob now grazing just above her shoulders.
Dressed in a casual yet polished ensemble, Ellen DeGeneres wore a white striped collared shirt layered under a navy cardigan, paired with white jeans. She completed the look with brown aviator sunglasses and a sleek black leather watch.
Portia de Rossi, known for her role in Arrested Development, opted for an oversized white linen blazer with subtle beige stripes, matching her linen cargo pants. She added a pop of color with light pink oversized sunglasses, embracing a chic, neutral aesthetic.

The couple’s outing comes just weeks before their 17th wedding anniversary on Monday, August 16. Over the years, they have frequently expressed their admiration for one another. In 2021, de Rossi told PEOPLE, “She is the kindest, most generous, most loving, loyal, trustworthy person I have ever known. She’s a very special human being. Some of it sometimes rubs off on me.”
Recently, the pair made a major lifestyle change, relocating from California to England. In November 2024, they purchased a sprawling $20 million estate in the picturesque English countryside. However, after extensive renovations, they listed the Cotswolds property for $30 million.
DeGeneres clarified to The Wall Street Journal that the decision to sell was not a sign of leaving England but rather a need for more space, particularly for their animals.

“When we decided to live here full time, we knew that Portia couldn’t live without her horses,” she explained. “We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them.”
As they settle into their new life abroad, the couple continues to enjoy the charm of England, proving that love — and great real estate — knows no borders.
