JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes appear to be moving full steam ahead in their relationship, with conversations about marriage and starting a family becoming increasingly common between the couple. In a candid interview with Us Weekly, Hughes, 32, opened up about their discussions and future aspirations, revealing how serious things have become.
“We genuinely speak to each other about this,” Hughes said, when asked if marriage and children were part of their long-term plans. “When you are absolutely besotted with each other and you are in love with someone, I think it’s fun to look forward to those things.”
While promoting his latest campaign with Nutri-Grain, Hughes didn’t hold back in expressing his feelings and hopes for the future with the pop star and media personality. “Of course, I want to get married. I would never shy away from saying that,” he said. “I want to marry and one day I want to have children.

We both come from extremely loving families and very wholesome families who care… So it would be nice to reciprocate that going forward.” Siwa, known for her energetic persona and deep connection with fans, has previously shared her desire to become a mother. She even disclosed names she had picked out for her future children: Freddie, Eddie, and Teddie.
The couple’s deepening bond is evident in how much time they’ve committed to one another. Hughes noted that they’ve rarely spent time apart since becoming serious. “We haven’t had more than two weeks apart from each other since we’ve come out of the house,” he said. “We find time to make it work in any moment where we’ve got a number of days off, we’ll spend them together.”

Reflecting on the emotional strength of their relationship, Hughes shared, “It’s tough when we’re away from each other. We just want to be together 24/7, and when we are together, everything is just right. Everything is so calm. It feels like if there was a storm outside, indoors, it would feel like sunshine and rainbows when we’re together.”
As fans watch this romance continue to blossom, speculation about an engagement or family plans may not remain rumors for long. With mutual admiration and aligned life goals, Siwa and Hughes seem ready to take their next steps together.
