However, the path back to public favor appears uncertain. “There’s no doubt Diddy will try to make a comeback when he’s released, but it’s going to be an uphill battle. Things will never be the same for him,” an entertainment insider told Us Weekly.
While the music industry is known for its occasional leniency toward controversial figures, the insider stressed that the recently surfaced footage showing Diddy allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura remains deeply damaging. “The security footage… will be seared into everyone’s memory forever,” they said. “It will be hard for the public to trust anything he says or does.”
