“His Royal Highness dressed appropriately. But does not need to match his father on all occasions,” the insider told the press. “It’s no secret that William does not feel bound by tradition. He respects tradition, but does not believe that we always have to follow it,” they added, underscoring the prince’s modern and independent approach to royal duties.
Royal commentator Richard Eden also weighed in on the decision, suggesting that the move was not simply about style but could carry deeper meaning.
