Reality TV star Kim Zolciak is setting the record straight about the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone over the years. During a candid appearance on Michelle Visage’s show, the 47-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared the details of her plastic surgery journey and the personal reasons behind her choices.
“I’m here because I’m going through a divorce, and I’ve had some weight loss, and I am a small-framed person,” said Zolciak, referencing her ongoing separation from former NFL player Kroy Biermann, told E! Online.
She continued, “And, so, the 10 pounds has definitely created some loose skin, and I did some contouring. It was supposed to go under the skin and tighten it up, and it did the opposite.”
Zolciak, known for her outspoken personality and signature glam, did not hold back as she listed the procedures she’s had done over the years. “I’ve done my b**bs a few times and then I had a tummy tuck,” she admitted. “I did have filler in my lips. I do Botox all the time.”
In addition to those common cosmetic enhancements, Zolciak revealed she also underwent Ultherapy, a non-surgical skin-tightening treatment that uses ultrasound technology to lift and firm the skin. As a mother of six, Zolciak said she doesn’t regret the work she’s had done. Instead, she views it as a way to feel confident in her body again after giving birth.
“I sacrificed my body for six incredible humans, so I did a mommy makeover,” she shared. “Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean you need to let yourself go.”
Zolciak, who rose to fame on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta and later starred in her own spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy, has always embraced an open-book approach to her life, and her latest remarks are no exception.
The Love Me First singer is a devoted mother to Brielle, 27; Ariana, 23; Kroy Jr., 13; Kash, 12; and 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Throughout her career, she has often spoken about balancing motherhood with self-care, and her latest revelations reflect that same message.
