Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be “infuriated” by a series of recent actions by Prince William and Kate Middleton, which insiders claim have further strained the already fragile relationship between the two royal couples.
According to Closer Magazine, several subtle moves made by the Prince and Princess of Wales have reportedly deepened the rift with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, causing frustration and resentment within the Sussex household.

One particularly pointed incident involved William and Kate publicly supporting a jewelry line owned by Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The source revealed that this gesture was “perceived as deliberate and only fanned the flames rather than help bring the Sussexes and Waleses closer together.”
“While Harry and Meghan have been open to a reconciliation in recent years, it hasn’t gotten past William or Kate,” the insider claimed. “They feel there is too much water under the bridge and damage done to be able to come back from it.”
The tension was also reignited by fashion choices made by senior royals following Meghan’s comments in the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan. In the series, Meghan revealed that during her time as a working royal, she was advised not to wear the same colors as other senior members of the family to avoid clashing.
Yet, during Kate’s Christmas concert shortly after the documentary aired, several royals appeared in similar shades—a move that was seen by some as a subtle jab. “They decided to turn up at the next event in the same colour. The move didn’t go unnoticed on the other side of the pond,” the source said.

Further fueling speculation of quiet competition, Kate recently highlighted her own homemade plum jam during a visit to a community garden, shortly after Meghan launched her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, which features her homemade jam.
“Let’s just say Kate’s jam move, along with using Chelsy’s jewellery line, is what stings the most,” the insider concluded. “Going after businesses and ex-girlfriends is low. It hasn’t flown under the radar.”
As subtle barbs and mirrored moves continue to make headlines, hopes for reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Waleses seem more distant than ever.
