According to multiple royal sources, tensions between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex have escalated in recent weeks, particularly following Harry’s candid interview with the BBC in May.
In it, he criticized the royal family’s lack of support and expressed regret over his fractured relationship with his father, King Charles. “I don’t know how much longer my father has… it would be nice to reconcile,” Harry stated in the interview — a remark that reportedly blindsided members of the Royal Family.
An insider speaking to Us Weekly claimed Prince William was “absolutely appalled” by Harry’s comments and now views the situation as irreparable. “There is no relationship,” the source said, revealing that the brothers have not spoken in over two years. The insider added, “There is no turning back for William.
