Virginia Giuffre Speaks In Unseen Interview About Abuse Involving Prince Andrew

Virginia Giuffre described her encounters with Prince Andrew as among the most painful experiences of her life, according to a previously unseen 2019 interview that has recently resurfaced.

Giuffre, an American woman who accused the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking her as a teenager, claimed she was also forced into sexual activity with the Duke of York. She said she never expected to serve a man of such stature and public admiration.

In the 2019 recording, Giuffre recalled the moment Maxwell allegedly ordered her to comply with Andrew’s demands. “Ghislaine tells me that I have to do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey, and that made me sick,” Giuffre said. “I just didn’t expect it from royalty. I didn’t expect it from someone whom people look up to and admire in the royal family.”

Giuffre said that the experience left her deeply traumatized and that she continues to struggle with the memories. “He knows what happened, I know what happened, and there’s only one of us telling the truth,” she stated firmly in the interview.

She also accused Maxwell of being physically abusive and taking pleasure in her distress. “She almost took pleasure in the fact, knowing that you were highly uncomfortable and that you were feeling sick to your stomach and that you were going through pain,” Giuffre said.

Giuffre’s claims against Prince Andrew were part of a broader legal battle involving Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking network, which implicated several high-profile figures. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations of wrongdoing and settled a civil case with Giuffre in 2022 without admitting liability.

Epstein died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges, an event ruled a suicide. Maxwell was later convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking and other related crimes and is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.

Giuffre’s testimony has continued to draw public attention and renewed scrutiny of Epstein’s network and those connected to it. Her remarks in the newly surfaced interview provide a more personal and disturbing account of the abuse she says she endured as a teenager under the control of Epstein and Maxwell.

Her statement, “I just didn’t expect it from royalty,” underscores the enduring shock and betrayal she felt, highlighting once again the human cost behind one of the most infamous scandals involving the British royal family in recent history.
