Prince Harry may want his children, Archie and Lilibet, to spend part of their schooling years in the United Kingdom, according to royal expert Grant Harrold.
Harrold, speaking to online learning platform Study Dog and quoted by Radar Online, said: “It’s very likely and completely possible. If they have their younger education in America, I’m sure their father will be quite keen to have a bit of a British education. But then it depends on how the relationship is with the rest of the family when the time comes.”
Reports suggest that Harry, despite living in California, still considers Britain to be home and wants his children to feel connected to their heritage. A royal insider told Radar Online: “Harry still sees Britain as home and believes Archie and Lilibet deserve to have roots here.”

Another source close to the Duke reinforced that sentiment. “Harry feels strongly that a British education and connection to their royal heritage are vital. He would not want to see that link severed, and if push came to shove, he would be ready to fight for it in court.”
The speculation highlights Harry’s long-standing struggle to balance his life in the United States with his royal identity in Britain. Since stepping down from senior royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle have raised their children primarily in California. However, Harry has returned to the UK several times for family occasions and remains tied to the monarchy through his position as King Charles’s younger son.
The idea of Archie and Lilibet attending school in Britain would not only provide them with a cultural connection but also situate them closer to the royal family, depending on how relations evolve in the coming years.

According to reports, Harry is already considering the possibility of relocating his children to Britain even without Meghan. Sources suggest that if his marriage were to break down, Harry might seek custody in order to ensure his children maintain their ties to the UK.
While much depends on how family relationships develop and whether Meghan would agree, royal watchers say the Duke’s determination is clear. His concern appears rooted in preserving both education and heritage for Archie and Lilibet, ensuring they do not lose their British identity despite growing up abroad.
