According to reports, a new and very different Meghan Markle attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations recently.
Markle was joined by her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, at Her Majesty’s milestone.
The former American actress traveled to the United Kingdom with the goal of making amends with the royal family, as per the Express Report.
Because of “Megxit” and the bombshell interviews, the Sussex couple’s relationships with various royals, including Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Charles, have worsened during the last two years.
Markle came to London in early June with the intention of rekindling her friendship or cordial connection with Kate Middleton.
The aspiring politician hoped to start a conversation with Kate Middleton based on the fact that they are both 40 years old and mothers of small children.
Meghan Markle celebrated her one-year-old daughter Lilibet’s birthday with a simple picnic-style party.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, were all invited to the birthday bash.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as Prince Harry, were turned down by the Cambridges. Due to a prior engagement, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge declined the invitation.
Royal analyst Neil Sean claimed on his YouTube channel that Markle was disappointed that she was unable to reconcile with Kate Middleton with the help of their children.
Sean stated: “Meghan Markle was really hoping to reconcile with Kate using the children to try and rebond the whole family together.”
The royal commentator then said that Markle went out of her way to project a new persona in order to allay royal concerns that she is a provocateur who is constantly stirring things up with speeches, essays, and interviews.
He stated that Markle made a major sacrifice by changing her personality from outspoken to meek in order to fit in.
Sean continued: “One way or another, that really wasn’t meant to be. The whole visit was very strange, to say the least. The few staff that did re-interact with Harry and Meghan said it was like meeting a totally different person.”
He went on to say: “Meghan was rather subdued and shy. She didn’t really interact with people and seemingly didn’t want to get on the wrong side of them.”
The news comes as reports surface that Queen Elizabeth is organizing a spectacular birthday celebration for Prince William and Kate Middleton at the end of the summer, with many speculating if Prince Harry and Markle will be included.
