Prince Harry’s feud with King Charles became worse after his interview with the BBC

As the fractured relationship between King Charles III and Prince Harry continues to make headlines, a royal insider has shed light on Queen Camilla’s stance, revealing that the Queen Consort remains firmly on the sidelines of the family feud.

According to a new report by People magazine, Queen Camilla “stays out of it,” choosing not to engage in the ongoing dispute between her husband and his estranged younger son, the Duke of Sussex. Royal author and expert Valentine Low commented on the situation, stating, “There is not a good angel in his ear to say, ‘Be a good dad and make the first move.’”

The implication is that there’s no one within Charles’s inner circle pushing for reconciliation, including Camilla. The rift appeared to deepen following Prince Harry’s candid interview with the BBC, in which he made a heartfelt but controversial statement: “I don’t know how much longer my father has… He won’t speak to me.” Harry expressed hope for a reconciliation, but the comment was seen by many as inflammatory.

Low noted, “It wasn’t meant to be an attack, but it would be seen as one. It makes Charles reach out even harder.” Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith echoed this sentiment, saying that both King Charles and Prince William “don’t trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation,” underscoring the strained and fragile state of royal relations.

Adding fuel to the fire, a report by Radar Online claimed that both Camilla and William are “dead set against” welcoming Harry back into the royal fold, particularly after the explosive allegations made in his memoir Spare. “The king is sick enough as it is. The last thing he needs is to be forced into some sort of confrontation with Harry, which they both predict would happen.

That’s just Harry’s nature,” a royal source reportedly said. The insider also claimed that Queen Camilla holds deep resentment toward Harry. “Not to mention that Camilla absolutely loathes him – just the mention of Harry’s name gets her blood boiling.”

Camilla is said to be focused on maintaining King Charles’s peace of mind during his ongoing health challenges. “This is a very tough time for her, and she wants to protect her peace – and her husband’s,” the source added. “The feeling is Harry made his choice when he waltzed off and proceeded to trash-talk them all publicly.”
