Harry Will Reportedly Be Back in England, Meghan Will Stay in America with the Kids

TV presenter Jeremy Kyle has sparked controversy with a blunt prediction about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future, offering a scathing take during a 2024 appearance on the Disruptors podcast.

While Kyle stopped short of expressing outright dislike for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, he did question the longevity of her relationship with Prince Harry, who stepped back from royal duties alongside Meghan in 2020.

When asked directly, “Why don’t you like Meghan?” Kyle replied, “I didn’t say I didn’t like Meghan. I can see exactly where it will finish.”

He then delivered a pointed forecast: “He [Harry] will be back in England and Meghan will be in America with two kids.” The comment referred to the couple’s two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who currently live with their parents in California.

Kyle’s comments implied a future separation between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, adding fuel to long-standing media speculation about the stability of their relationship.

“I just think that he was… the second word is whipped,” Kyle continued. “Do you want to know what the first word is?” he added, suggesting the comment would be less than flattering, though he left it to the audience’s imagination.

Despite his harsh prediction, Kyle did offer a rare moment of support for the couple’s decision to exit royal life.

“I saluted them when they went, ‘I don’t want to be in this goldfish bowl. I want to go to California.’ I thought ‘fair play,’” he said, acknowledging their choice to seek a more private life outside the intense scrutiny of royal duties and British tabloid culture.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle famously stepped down as senior working royals in early 2020, relocating to the United States to pursue financial independence and a quieter lifestyle. Since then, they’ve signed major media deals, launched charitable initiatives under their Archewell Foundation, and remained prominent public figures.

However, their move has not been without criticism, particularly in the U.K., where some public figures and commentators have questioned their ongoing use of royal titles and their repeated criticisms of the monarchy.

Kyle’s remarks reflect a segment of public opinion that remains skeptical of the couple’s choices and future. While there has been no indication from either Harry or Meghan of any marital trouble, the British media continues to scrutinize their every move.

Whether Kyle’s prediction holds any truth remains to be seen, but it’s clear the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to divide opinion both at home and abroad.
