Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson May Be Permanently Excluded from Royal Inner Circle, Expert Warns

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson may be permanently excluded from the royal inner circle due to their ongoing controversies, according to royal expert Jennie Bond. Speaking with The Mirror, Bond explained that the Duke and Duchess of York’s association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is causing significant damage to the Royal family’s reputation.

Bond emphasised that Andrew and Ferguson’s continued connection to Epstein is undoing the positive work that other members of the royal family have achieved. She also noted that the public would likely support King Charles if he decided to take decisive action against the couple, such as removing Andrew from his roles as Knight of the Garter and Counsellor of State.

“The Yorks undo the good work that the rest of the family regularly carry out and tarnish the reputation of the monarchy,” Bond explained. “That has to be stopped.”

Bond also pointed out the impact of the recent email scandal, which she believes makes it “impossible” for Ferguson to rejoin the royal family’s inner circle. She stated, “The latest email scandal now makes it impossible for her to be part of the inner family circle again.”

The expert continued to suggest that a move to strip Andrew of his titles and roles, including his position as a Counsellor of State, could be a necessary gesture. “I think the public would welcome some gesture of punishment, such as stripping Andrew of his place as a Knight of the Garter and also as a Counsellor of State,” Bond added.

However, Bond acknowledged the complexity of the situation for King Charles. “It’s another very tricky domestic situation for Charles. He is a sensitive man, and family is important to him. Nothing can change the fact that Andrew is his brother,” Bond said, acknowledging the personal and emotional challenges that King Charles faces in navigating the family’s controversies.

As the scrutiny surrounding Andrew and Ferguson continues, it remains to be seen whether King Charles will take further steps to distance them from the monarchy or if they will find a way to remain involved in royal affairs.
