Trump Launches 4 A.M. Truth Social Rant Targeting China, Biden, and 2020 Election

President Donald Trump returned to Truth Social in the early hours of Wednesday morning with a string of fiery posts targeting everything from trade negotiations with China to ongoing grievances about the 2020 election and former President Joe Biden.

After a day of relative quiet on his preferred social media platform aside from a scathing message aimed at Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) for opposing the new budget bill, Trump broke his silence just after 4 a.m. ET with a flurry of three posts.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump lashed out at Paul, calling him a political liability. “His ideas are actually crazy (losers!). The people of Kentucky can’t stand him,” he wrote, slamming the senator’s resistance to the legislation currently making its way through the Senate.

Trump’s early morning posting spree began with a comment on U.S.-China relations, specifically trade negotiations. “I like President XI of China, always have, and always will, but he is VERY TOUGH, AND EXTREMELY HARD TO MAKE A DEAL WITH!!!” Trump wrote, offering no further context or explanation regarding the state of current talks.

Moments later, he shifted tone dramatically with a brief, cryptic boast about the U.S. economy. “THE UNITED STATES HAD THE BEST MAY IN 30 YEARS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” the post read. Trump did not provide details or data to back the claim.

The former president then turned to familiar territory: grievances about Joe Biden’s presidency and his own 2020 election loss — the latter a subject he continues to insist, without evidence, was the result of widespread fraud.

“With the exception of the RIGGED PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020, THE AUTOPEN IS THE BIGGEST POLITICAL SCANDAL IN AMERICAN HISTORY!!!” Trump declared, referring to a practice commonly used in official government correspondence to sign documents when the president is unavailable. The comment appeared to revive a debunked conspiracy theory about Biden’s use of the autopen.

Despite a lack of evidence supporting any of his claims, Trump continues to amplify these messages to his base on Truth Social, frequently laced with capital letters, sweeping assertions, and sharp personal attacks.

With the 2024 presidential election drawing closer and Trump continuing to dominate the Republican field, these posts signal a renewed effort to rally support by leaning heavily on his favorite narratives — economic success under his watch, distrust of foreign powers, and lingering bitterness over an election he still refuses to concede.
