Meltdown on Camera: Marjorie Taylor Greene Erupts at UK Reporter in Wild Rant Over Leaked MAGA Messages

Tensions erupted during a press conference Wednesday when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out at a Sky News reporter attempting to question her about the ongoing Signal messaging leak controversy within the Trump administration.

The confrontation began when British journalist Martha Kelner approached Greene for a comment regarding the leak, which has sparked backlash and confusion within MAGA circles. Greene immediately asked, “Wait, what country are you from?” Upon hearing that Kelner was from the United Kingdom, Greene launched into a tirade.

“Okay, we don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country where you have a major migrant problem?” Greene snapped, pointing her finger in the reporter’s face. When Kelner attempted to continue her line of questioning, Greene cut her off again. “No, no, no, no! You should care about your own borders.”

Kelner pressed, asking, “Do you care about American lives put at risk?” Greene interrupted once more, yelling, “No, no, no, no, no! Let me tell you something: Do you care about people from your country? What about all the women that are raped by migrants? No, do you care — OK, you’re done! You know what, I don’t care —”

Kelner tried to interject, referencing service members fighting for the U.S., but Greene shouted her down: “I don’t care about your fake news!” She then turned her attention to the American press, saying she would only take questions “from an American journalist.”

An American reporter followed up: “Yeah, I’m an American and I’d like to hear your answer to what she asked.” Greene doubled down: “I’m not answering her question because I don’t care about her network. If you would like to ask, I can answer.”

The outburst came the same day Greene clashed with Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) during a House DOGE subcommittee hearing, where tensions ran high over the Trump administration’s push to defund public media.

“To be clear, free speech is not about whatever it is y’all want somebody to say. And the idea that you want to shut down everybody that is not Fox News is bull—-,” Crockett declared before Greene repeatedly slammed her gavel to silence her, even as Crockett read directly from the First Amendment.

The day’s events highlighted the deepening divisions on Capitol Hill over media, free speech, and foreign scrutiny of American politics.
