Home to the Petronas, a land of multicultural interactions, Eden on earth for nature enthusiasts, Kuala Lumpur is the heart of the socially, culturally and economically thriving Malaysia. Indeed truly Asia, Malaysia is home to hundreds of different species of man and animals alike. Influenced by equatorial conditions Kuala Lumpur, the Capital of Malaysia is home to one of the largest industries for date palm and other naturally acquired derivatives.

Although Kuala Lumpur is largely a multicultural society, most of the laws implemented are on the basis of a Muslim state. There is however respect for all other cultures and religions with many bars and restaurants offering alcohol and various varieties of cuisines as well as religious sanctuaries supporting all religions including minorities.

With the aim of achieving a first world country status by 2020 Kuala Lumpur is the perfect example of what Malaysia has to present. On an hours drive from Kuala Lumpur are the Genting Highlands which are an awesome retreat for your family and your children. At a higher altitude than the metropolitan the highlands offer a recreational treat with activities for the entire family from nature associated frolicking to a theme park for the young ones.

The city is home to some of the finest wine and dining experiences as well as home to some of the most exquisite chains of hotels and clubs. Whether you’re a beach fanatic or a water sport enthusiast or even a shopaholic, Kuala Lumpur has the answers to all your devious vocational luxuries.

Although Kuala Lumpur offers a fine variety of various eateries, it is much recommended to try some of the local delicacies most of which include fresh sea catch that you may have prepped according to your liking and even right in front of you.  One of my best food experiences in Kuala Lumpur was fresh coconut milk which I hadn’t come across on any of my ventures towards the Atlantic.

For motorist enthusiasts, Kuala Lumpur has a Formula One race track at a short drive from the International Airport that hosts a Grand Prix event every F1 season. Moreover, Kuala Lumpur offers you a conventional, convenient and quite the relaxing and luxury vacation. It offers a variety of activities including natural escapes such as snorkeling, deep sea diving, cave exploring or just having a ball with your friends. Make sure that the next time you’re headed on a trip you’ve got Kuala Lumpur on your list, because Malaysia is indeed truly Asia.
