Illinois teacher admits to luring 11-year-old boy for ‘play dates’ in her bed

Disturbing bodycam footage reveals the moment a married teacher was arrested for luring an 11-year-old student to her home for so-called “play dates” before sexually assaulting him. Alley Bardfield, 34, confessed to engaging in sexual intercourse with the child on the bed she normally shared with her husband.

A Macon County court was told that Bardfield also sent $700 to the young boy over several months through a payment application. The pair additionally swapped explicit images with one another on Snapchat. A recently released bodycam video of her arrest was posted online this week.

In the footage, an arresting officer questions why she sent nude photographs to the minor. Bardfield responds, “He kept asking and asking and asking and wouldn’t leave me alone.” She repeatedly tells the officer that the boy made advances on her and that the situation was all his doing, reports the Daily Star.

The situation first unfolded when the boy’s parents became suspicious after noticing their son acting strangely at home. A subsequent check of his phone and social media accounts revealed he had been visiting Bardfield’s residence in Mount Zion, Illinois. These visits were described as “play dates” by the teacher.

One of these encounters shockingly resulted in a sexual assault. After the parents questioned their son about the discovered text messages, he admitted to what had occurred. The family then immediately contacted the police. Their investigation also uncovered photographs of the student and the teacher together at her home.

Bardfield was taken into custody and now faces multiple severe criminal charges. The released bodycam footage has sparked widespread public condemnation and concern regarding student safety. The investigation by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office remains active.
