Nancy Sinatra, known for her hit “Bang Bang,” shared a heartfelt tribute to Elvis Presley, the iconic King of Rock & Roll, on what would have been his 89th birthday. The 83-year-old singer and actress took to X, the platform that replaced Twitter, to reflect on her cherished memories with Presley.

Sinatra posted a series of nostalgic images, including movie stills and candid shots, capturing moments from their time together. Accompanying these pictures, she penned a touching message: “It was so easy to get lost in his dreamy eyes. It was so easy to be silly with him. It was so easy to feel at home in his arms.” She expressed a deep sense of affection and regret, noting, “He was so easy to love.”

Their close bond developed after co-starring in the 1968 musical action film “Speedway.” Sinatra has openly discussed the flirtatious nature of their relationship, though she clarified that they never officially dated.

Interestingly, as their relationship began to deepen, Presley reportedly became cautious, mindful of Nancy’s father, Frank Sinatra. Frank Sinatra was not only a renowned musician but was also rumored to have connections with the mafia.

In a candid interview with People Magazine, Sinatra reflected on Presley’s multifaceted personality: “He was the funniest man and probably the most serious man I knew, both people in one.” She shared memories of Presley’s humor and his late-night calls to discuss serious issues like his concern for people living in ghettos. Sinatra added, “People who follow his life probably are aware of his sensitivity,” highlighting an often-overlooked aspect of Presley’s character.
