Megan Fox made her first public appearance since welcoming her daughter with Machine Gun Kelly, revealing she was running on almost no sleep. Over the weekend, the 35-year-old actress attended a special screening of her 2009 cult favorite Jennifer’s Body at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
She joined her co-star Adam Brody and director Karyn Kusama on stage for a Q&A session, marking her official return to the spotlight. Before answering the first question, Fox shared an honest disclaimer with the audience. “First of all, I just want to say I just had a baby, and I have a lot of brain fog,” she said. “I haven’t slept in seven months. So if I repeat myself, I’m sorry. Just interrupt me and tell me I’m off track,” she added, laughing.
Despite her exhaustion, the Transformers star embraced the film’s dark and eerie aesthetic, wearing a nude corset adorned with blood-red beading that shimmered under the theater lights. Her look paid subtle tribute to the horror-comedy that has since become a feminist classic.

The event marked Fox’s first public outing since giving birth to her and MGK’s daughter, Saga Blade, in March. She had announced her pregnancy in November 2024, just weeks before calling off her engagement to the musician. At the time, the couple faced a difficult period after suffering a miscarriage, but recent reports suggest that their relationship has strengthened since their daughter’s arrival.
According to People magazine, the pair has been spending more time together as they adjust to life with their newborn. “He spends pretty much every night at her house with the baby,” a source said. Another insider added, “They’re putting the baby first, and it’s brought them closer in many ways.”
Fox is already a devoted mother to three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9—whom she shares with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green. Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is also a father to 16-year-old daughter Casie from a previous relationship with Emma Cannon.

Though still adjusting to the sleepless nights of new motherhood, Fox appeared radiant and upbeat at the event. Her candid humor about “brain fog” and fatigue resonated with fans, who applauded her willingness to embrace honesty over perfection.
As she continues balancing motherhood, career, and her rekindled relationship, Fox’s appearance was a reminder that even Hollywood’s fiercest stars need a little grace—and a lot of coffee.
