Lori Loughlin Reportedly Feels ‘Betrayed’ After Split From Mossimo Giannulli

Lori Loughlin is finding it difficult to move forward following her split from ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli after nearly three decades of marriage. The Full House actress, 60, is leaning on her close friends and support network as she adjusts to life after divorce.

A source close to the actress told People that Loughlin’s circle has been standing firmly by her side during the emotional transition. “She has a good group of friends. A lot of her friends are also divorced and have gone through the same thing she currently is,” the source said. Now, the exes are “living apart and moving on with separate priorities,” and “Lori feels betrayed,” adds the source.

“They’re rallying behind her,” the insider added. “They do not like him. They are very angry with him.” Loughlin and Giannulli, a fashion designer, were married for 28 years before their split became public earlier this year. The pair share two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, both of whom have maintained public profiles of their own.

The separation marks another personal challenge for Loughlin, who has spent the past few years rebuilding her life and reputation after serving a brief prison sentence in the 2019 college admissions scandal.

Adding to the emotional toll, her longtime friend and Full House co-star John Stamos recently opened up about how the divorce has affected her. Speaking on the Good Guys podcast, Stamos expressed deep concern for his friend.

“She put up with a lot over the years of this guy,” Stamos said. “She’s just devastated. For a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife — I know all this for a fact — to be thrown into now this separation and, you know, exploding, blowing up her family this way… I just hate to see her go through this. I really do.”

Friends say Loughlin is focused on healing and prioritizing her family while keeping a low profile. Those close to her describe her as resilient but heartbroken, still processing the end of a nearly 30-year marriage that she once believed would last forever.

Despite the pain, insiders say Loughlin is surrounded by love and support from those who know her best. “She’s trying to stay positive,” the source said. “Her friends are helping her see that this is just one chapter in her life — not the whole story.”
