Kendall Jenner is sharing new insight into her relationship with her dad, Caitlyn Jenner, in a heartfelt moment featured on the latest episode of The Kardashians.
The 29-year-old supermodel appeared alongside Caitlyn, 76, during a family dinner where the conversation turned to the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. Caitlyn, who lives in Malibu, reassured everyone that her home was safe and told the family she planned to stay behind to protect it if necessary.
In a rare and emotional confessional, Kendall opened up about her evolving relationship with Caitlyn and the challenges that sometimes come with it. “I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my Dad in a way because I love her. She’s my dad. We have a good relationship. But sometimes I get frustrated with her with certain things because we just have completely different views on things,” Kendall shared.

While she acknowledged that they don’t always see eye to eye, Kendall emphasized that their bond remains one of the most meaningful relationships in her life. “Other than that, I always want to include her,” she said. “I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family and I think that she gets lonely. You don’t ever want someone to be sad, especially your dad and someone you love and care about.”
The scene marked one of Caitlyn’s first appearances on The Kardashians since its debut on Hulu. Although she had previously been a central figure on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
Caitlyn, who publicly came out as transgender in 2015, has since focused on advocacy and political endeavors, including an unsuccessful campaign for California governor in 2021.

Her return to the family series came after Kris Jenner, 69, invited her ex to a farewell dinner at their former Hidden Hills home, known as “El Dorado Meadow.” The house held sentimental value for both Caitlyn and Kris, as it was featured heavily during their time together on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Reflecting on the emotional reunion, Kris said in a confessional, “It’s only right for Caitlyn to be here tonight too, because she actually was part of all those amazing memories. It wasn’t just my house – it was our house.”
The heartfelt episode offered viewers a glimpse into the complex but loving family dynamic that continues to define the Kardashian-Jenner clan. New episodes of The Kardashians stream Thursdays on Hulu.
