Justin Bieber is back out and about, and no, it’s not because of internet gossip. The 31-year-old singer stepped into the spotlight on Sunday, 18 May, not to address headlines, but to cheer on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, and he brought wife Hailey Bieber along for the ride.
The couple was spotted at Scotiabank Arena during the Stanley Cup playoffs, beaming as they watched the Leafs take on the Florida Panthers. It was a proper Canadian night out, with Justin caught on camera by Sportsnet grinning ear to ear, bopping along to the arena tunes, and looking relaxed with Hailey by his side.

This rare public appearance came just days after Bieber’s rep addressed swirling online rumours linking him to the ongoing legal drama involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. On 15 May, a statement given to Us Weekly shut the speculation down hard, making it crystal clear: “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
With that firmly put to rest, Justin seemed keen to focus on lighter things—like playoff hockey and some quality time with Hailey. True to form, the couple didn’t just enjoy the game—they documented the whole outing for their fans.

Justin posted a cheeky clip to Instagram Stories of Hailey strutting confidently through a hallway before the match, giving followers a glimpse of their pre-game energy. He then shared a photo from their seats on his main feed, captioning it simply: “Made it into the building,” tagging Hailey as usual.

Not one to be left out, Hailey reposted his pic to her Stories, adding her flair with a behind-the-scenes snap of Maple Leafs stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, who happened to be sitting just a few rows ahead. A proper fan moment if ever there was one.
Since tying the knot in 2018 and now raising their seven-month-old son, Jack Blues, the Biebers have kept things mostly low-key. But this little hockey date was a clear sign they’re still enjoying life in the public eye, just on their terms.
Playoff energy, couple goals, and shutting down drama with style—Justin and Hailey might just have scored the ultimate hat trick.
